Dragon Keeper

Dragon keeper is a book about a young slave-girl who lives on a mountain in a place called Huang ling. Her only friend is a rat named Hua. at Huang ling, she attends to the duties her master, Lan, is supposed to fulfill.She is to tend to the goats and oxen, the chickens and Lan himself. Pretty average slavery, right? Wrong! In addition to the oxen and goats pens, there is a deep, dark pit. This pit, is the imperial dragons. After one of the dragons die, and there is a surprise visit from the sour faced emperor and a dragon hunter, the one remaining dragon and the slave-girl manged to run away with a strange stone. The dragon tells the girl her name is Ping, and tells her his name is Danzi. They head towards the mystical Ocean, but will they make it? Will they succeed?
